It was a boring RD, so I decided to watch some movies.  After looking for some DVD’s, I finally end up watching MILK on my beb’s laptop.

Milk; this movie is so great and very inspirational. I never thought that fighting for GAY RIGHTS would cause somebody’s life. I would like to thank Harvey, if not because of him WE the gay people of the world wouldn’t be what we are right now. The role was played well by Sean Penn and the other characters of the movie are simply exquisite. At the end of the movie; I cried bucket of tears. People really did treasure Harvey Milk. Kudus to you Mr. Milk for a job well done.

This gown Inspired me a lot; after watching the Miss Cebu 2010 Coronation night .  The gown per say is very very UNIQUE, we can say that it is one of a kind. This gave me goosebumps and thought “WHO WILL I VOTE?”. Harley Ruedas is such a brilliant designer.  So mga kababayan ko…. VOTE WISELY!!!

The festival of Virgin of the Rule Fiesta in Cebu is mostly known to be held in the honor of the patroness of Opon. This festival is celebrated in the month of November between 20th and 21st of the month. As it is Cebu has a major flair for religious celebrations and Cebuano people celebrate their festivities with great pomp and grandeur rendering a colorful feature to the jubilations.

This event which brings out the Cebuano passion for enjoyment and merriment also entails a food fair accompanied by a procession and the grand occasion of the coronation of the Fiesta Queen. The last of the jubilations when the Fiesta Queen is coroneted is the final attraction of the day as it also involves a lot of crowd and acts as a major source of tourist attraction. Other than the fair and coronation of the Queen you have the parades and religious processions to enjoy and gain knowledge about the culture and festivities of the land.

Celebrating this fest is a great occasion of honor for the Cebuano people as they not only arrange for food fairs and processions and live shows etc the coronation of the Queen is a major attraction for the tourists who just cherish the idea of knowing and seeing the whole coronation ritual take place and finally take shape into a full-fledged religious ceremony. This ceremony is also a major attraction for Cebu tourism to cash in to, as in this month most of the tourist influx takes place due to the significance of this celebration.
